For their "People's Post Office" campaign Mother wanted a cross-section of Artists that the British public would immediately recognise and were perennially popular. The spots directed by comedy guru Armando Iannucci, were to be knowingly self-mocking with the Artists in on the joke. The campaign featured Joan Collins, Westlife, Wendy Richard, Keith Harris and Orville, Chris Eubank, Bill Oddie, Ray Mears and Bungle.
